Haiku Heights Prompt #251

Time’s unannounced shifts
never yield to Man’s protest.
Helpless to stop it
In response to the prompt by Haiku Heights

Series of Zappai Poetry

A beacon of hope
Signals the coming rainfall
To wash away sin

Repulse from disgust,
I withdraw from the grotesque
to a pleasant scene

Hard working at night,
The hot wax begins to melt
as the point wears down
